‘Disgusting’: Big Brother’s Bruce snaps at Jane in furious outburst
The Big Brother house descended into chaos on Wednesday after Bruce finally snapped at Jane, sparking mayhem in the kitchen.
The Big Brother Australia house erupted into mayhem on Wednesday when Bruce and Jane’s feud finally came to a head.
Jane kicked off the feud earlier this week when she confronted Bruce, Colin and Vincent and claimed that they were “disrespectful” to women.
The boys all had a problem with her claim and when they refused to back, down she stormed off.
Things continued to bubble under the radar until Bruce confronted Jane during the latest task in the kitchen.
He told the 67-year-old retiree that she was “too old” to be acting so immaturely and that it’s high time she swallow her pride and apologise for her behaviour.
“You owe all the boys an apology,” insisted Bruce. “You walked out there, you disrespected me but worse you disrespected my mates. It’s disgusting. That was the most high school bulls**t I have ever seen. And you ran away before anyone could speak their piece! The way you think you speak for all women because you’re God almighty.”
Jane, clearly annoyed at the outburst, replied: “I’m not God almighty.”
Bruce hit back: “You literally asked us: ‘Do I not speak for all women?’ and we said ‘No, you don’t Jane.’”
“Good,” she replied. “Then I don’t speak for all women.”
Finally hearing what he’d wanted Jane to say yesterday, Bruce shouted: “That’s what you should have said out there then!”
“I said it,” insisted Jane.
“No you didn’t,” complained Bruce. “You’re too old for this”.
“The message is still clear,” a furious Jane snapped back. “I think you’re disrespectful to me.”
“I am,” agreed Bruce. “I don’t like you Jane.”
“I don’t like you either,” nodded Jane.
The disagreement first began during last night’s episode, when Jane revealed that she wanted people to “stop farting”.
“I just have a thing with disrespecting women,” she said at the time. “I don’t wanna hear people farting in my face.”
“It’s fair if you’ve expressed you don’t want farts,” said Vincent. “But you’re insinuating that we don’t have respect towards women. First of all, he does, I do and Colin does.”
Colin agreed, saying: “Yeah fair enough. But don’t go around saying we disrespect women.”
“Can I just say something,” insisted Colin before Jane sarcastically snapped: “Hey bro!”
“Can I just finish one sentence please,” fought back Colin.
“Disrespect,” replied Jane, causing Bruce to finally snap and join in the fiery row.
“You’re the one showing him no respect, Jane” he told her bluntly. “It’s a two-way street.”
His comment enraged Jane, and she pulled a disgruntled face before getting up out of her chair and storming away from the three boys.
She then yelled back “and that’s my point,” while not actually making a point.
Big Brother continues 7:30pm tomorrow on Ten.
