Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s attempted to “mend fences” during the Queen’s Jubilee, but their reunion was not well received by other royals.

Prince Harry furious and 'wants apology from Royals over rift'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s meeting may have went well with the Queen but their efforts to reconcile with other royal family members wasn’t as successful, according to royal expert.

Royal expert and author Christopher Andersen told the US Weekly that the couple‘s attempts to “mend fences” didn’t go well and that palace officials “sidelined” them during official events.

“They went there hoping to mend fences and ran into a brick wall,” he told the Us Weekly.

He said he was “was personally surprised” that the Duke and Duchess Sussex were “excluded” from the royals” balcony appearance during Trooping the Colour.

“I thought that there would be an opportunity for [Harry] to show up there to show the solidarity [and] the future of the monarchy,” he said.

“I’m sure they expected to have a warmer welcome than what they received.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly did not attempt to introduce their children to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter, Lilibet.

Mr Andersen said there was still “a lot of tension” between the brothers after Harry and Markle quit the royal family, moved to California and revealed family drama to Oprah Winfrey.

“William and Kate made no effort at all to introduce Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to [Lilibet],” Mr Andersen said.

“As far as I know, nobody believes they spoke [to each other].

‘FURIOUS’ HARRY WANTS ‘APOLOGY’ AFTER JUBILEE SNUB

It comes as a “furious” Prince Harry wanted “an apology” amid reports he was royally snubbed by the Queen and senior members of the royal family at last week’s Platinum Jubilee, according to royal biographer Angela Levin.

“I think he would have been very, very upset that he was largely ignored,” the noted Prince Harry and Camilla Parker Bowles biographer told The Sun. “He still feels he’s owed an apology.”

Speaking about the “self-destructive” Prince Harry’s demeanour at the thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s Cathedral last Friday, the royal analyst said: “The thing that really stood out for me on that day was Harry’s anger — he wears his emotions on his face and he looked absolutely furious.”

According to the New York Post, Levin — who reportedly spent a year with Prince Harry while writing his biography — was addressing the international photo controversy that emerged when he and Meghan introduced one-year-old Lilibet to the Queen for the first time last week, after jetting to the UK to attend the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Multiple outlets claimed that the couple were denied a request to have a photographer take photos of the 96-year-old monarch with her great-granddaughter — with one anonymous source claiming they were told: “No chance. It was a private family event.”

It was also reported that the Queen’s aides were concerned that Prince Harry and Meghan would leak the photos to US television networks or to Netflix whey have a multimillion-dollar deal.

The Queen’s communications secretary declined requests for comment about the conflicting reports surrounding “private” meetings. However, a insider with knowledge of the situation told The New York Post the reports are not true: “They just enjoyed a private and intimate visit with the Queen,” the source said, adding that the Sussexes didn’t ask for photos as the 96-year-old monarch wasn’t feeling well.

It was also reported that the couple also did not spend any private time with Prince William and Kate Middleton during their brief Jubilee visit. Meanwhile, Prince William’s family reportedly declined an invitation from Prince Harry and Meghan to attend Lilibet’s first birthday party.

The pair did not appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the Jubilee because they are no longer working members of the royal family.

The couple were met with both boos and cheers when they appeared at a Jubilee event at St Paul’s Cathedral last Friday. They left the UK last Sunday before the multi-day celebrations had even ended. However, sources told the New York Post this wasn’t a royal snub — Harry and Markle had always intended to attend just two events and leave.

Still, Levin claimed that Prince Harry was likely beside himself after getting the alleged royal cold shoulder.

“I think it’s quite interesting really — he could have been feeling lots of things,” Levin said, adding that Prince Harry might “regret what he has lost” after famously stepping down from his royal role in 2020.

“I don’t know whether he had a wave of feeling at what he had given up,” the monarch expert, who theorised that the former Duke Of Sussex will nonetheless demand an apology from the senior royals.

However, Levin, for one, said she believes that “Harry is “the one who should apologise”.

“He said during the Oprah interview that Charles and William were trapped, he said he’d been cut off by his father,” she said referencing last year’s bombshell “tell-all,” in which the Sussexes trashed the royal family to Oprah Winfrey.

“You can’t just go around being rude about people and expecting them to open their hearts to you again.”

Levin also blamed Prince Harry after senior royals allegedly declined to attend Lilibet’s birthday party, claiming that the prince had merely forgotten to check his older brother’s schedule to see if he was free.

“Allegedly, they asked Kate and William and the children to the party,” she said.

“However, they didn’t take the trouble of finding out the Cambridges would be in Wales on the morning, and coming back to get ready for the Jubilee concert in the afternoon, so they couldn’t go.”

Prince Harry has reportedly been estranged from his brother ever since the Sussexes went public wiuth strife within the royal family to Oprah Winfrey.

Levin claims the royal brush-off will adversely affect the streaming career of the Sussexes, who signed on for a multimillion-dollar deal with Netflix in 2020 after moving to the US. Most recently, the streaming platform had green-lit the runaway Sussexes’ much-hyped “at-home” docuseries in May.

“I heard Netflix wanted these pictures of them with the royals,” Levin said during a recent appearance on GB News in the UK. “Because they would have sold it. It would be very valuable, very valuable to them.”

She continued, “They would have used it [the photo] for Netflix. It would give them a kudos that they had her with her great-grandmother, you know.”
