Da Brat is pregnant with her first child!

The 48-year-old rapper debuted her baby bump in an Instagram post Tuesday.

“BLESSINGS all 2023,” she captioned photos of herself cradling her bare stomach in an unbuttoned Chicago Bulls jacket, red sweatpants and matching sneakers.

The Grammy nominee, whose real name is Shawntae Harris, tagged Hope Fertility in the post, concluding, “Thanks so much”.

Da Brat’s wife, Jesseca “Judy” Dupart,” also touched the songwriter’s stomach in the social media upload, smiling at her partner.

The couple had “quite a journey” starting their family, Harris explained in an interview with People.

“I never thought I was going to have kids. I just thought it wasn’t in the cards for me,” she explained.

“I’ve had a great career, a full life. I felt like, because I didn’t get pregnant earlier on, then it just wasn’t going to happen for me.”

However, the expectant star changed her mind when she married the hairdresser.

The couple subsequently underwent a “tug’o’war” over who would carry their baby, with Dupart convincing her “nurturing” wife to carry their child.

“I felt like she should have the experience,” Dupart told the outlet, noting that she suffered major health complications after her own egg retrieval.

After Da Brat had surgery to remove fibroids and polyps, she underwent an embryo transfer — and ultimately suffered a miscarriage.

With the “few eggs” they had left, as well as sperm from an anonymous donor described as an “eager entrepreneur”, Da Brat was able to conceive again.

She is now 18 weeks along. The little one will be her first child and Dupart’s fourth, as the Kaleidoscope Hair Products creator welcomed three kids prior to their romance.

Da Brat’s pregnancy reveal comes one year after she and Dupart tied the knot in Georgia in February 2022.

The duo confirmed their relationship in March 2020, with Da Brat writing via Instagram that she found her “heart’s match”.

The “Funkdafied” rapper gushed, “I have never experienced this feeling. It’s so overwhelming that often I find myself in a daze hoping to never get pinched to see if it’s real so I can live in this dream forever.”
