Margot Robbie has stepped out at a fashion show for Chanel, and she sported a rather peculiar – and wildly expensive – accessory.

Australian actress Margot Robbie has made a public appearance for the first time in 2022, and she certainly accessorised for the occasion.

The 31-year-old I, Tonya star arrived at Chanel’s spring 2022 couture show in Paris this week in a chic winter white look – but we instantly zeroed in on her itsy-bitsy bag from the luxury label, the New York Post reports.

What could she have possibly packed inside? A couple of Tic Tacs? A solitary tube of lipstick? The world’s smallest bottle of hand sanitiser? The last remaining shreds of this writer’s sanity?

As it turns out, Robbie might have just wanted to take her tunes on the go, because her microscopic handbag is actually an ultra-fancy AirPods case.

Equipped with Chanel’s signature chain strap, quilted lambskin and double-C closure, the shrunken satchel will set you back a cool $5500 – AirPods sold separately, of course.

Impracticality aside, perhaps Robbie’s choice of bag was simply part of her prep to play Barbie in Mattel’s upcoming live-action movie. Call it method accessorising.

Robbie, who deleted her social media pages last year and lives her life out of the spotlight as best she can, has been an ambassador for the iconic French luxury fashion house since 2016, which means it’s likely she got the AirPods case for free. What a life.
