TASMANIA’S Kimmy and Rhi Harris are $100,000 richer and on the way to a rewarding house design career after taking out the latest series of Seven Network renovation show House Rules.
The Launceston twins were tipped to win this season of the popular renovation show, having topped the leaderboard for much of the series, while also attracting high praise from the judges.

The pair will walk away from the series with the $100,000 grand prize.
At Homebase, through tears, Kimmy told host Jamie Durie and co-host Abbey Way: “$100,000! It’s ridiculous. We are just two girls from Tassie who thought it would be cool to apply for a TV show and now we win $100,000.
“This has literally been the world’s wildest ride!”
They won the final with a combined score of 27 out of a possible 30 from the show’s three judges.
British celebrity interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen said Kimmy and Rhi had a bright future in home design.
“You are amazing designers and you will be very successful and very, very busy,” he said.
They had previously won $30,000 winnings from the show — which they split among themselves and shared with their mum — and Kimmy’s Summerhill home has been fully renovated as part of the competition, while Rhi plans to buy a house nearby using her cut of the prizemoney.
