Embattled A-lister Kevin Spacey has copped a grilling from Piers Morgan, revealing he’s “millions” in debt as his house is sold from under him.

Oscar-winner Kevin Spacey has revealed in an emotional new TV interview he’s “many millions” of dollars in debt and has been dodging bankruptcy.

In his first major television appearance in years, Spacey sat down with interviewer Piers Morgan on his Uncensored chat show to open up about his career woes ever since facing allegations of sexual abuse and harassment in 2017, at the height of the #MeToo movement.

In the interview, Morgan asked Spacey where he was living, which prompted an emotional interview from the actor, who revealed his house in Baltimore “is being foreclosed on” and was being sold at auction.

To “millions” in debt.

“So the answer to that question is, I’m not quite sure where I’m going to live now, but I have been in Baltimore since we started shooting House of Cards there.”Morgan asked Spacey why his house was being foreclosed, and the actor revealed it was because “I can’t pay the bills that I owe.”

Asked if he was facing bankruptcy, Spacey shared that he had been close but had “managed to sort of dodge it, at least as of today.”

Asked how much money he has, Spacey – who was reported to have a net worth of around $US70 million back in 2022 – insisted he had “none. I still owe a lot of legal bills that I have not been able to pay.”

Spacey said his debt runs into the “many millions” of dollars, but insisted he’s not feeling despondent and wants to “get back on the horse” and resume his acting career to earn an income.

Morgan also grilled Spacey about the allegations he had faced, with Spacey conceding he had in the past been guilty of “being too handsy, touching someone sexually in a way that I didn’t know at the time they didn’t want.”

But he denied that any of actions could be classified as criminal conduct, insisting he had “been gentle with people”: “You want to be gentle. You want to see if they’re going to respond positively,” he said.

Spacey was cleared of all charges related to the alleged sexual assault of four men in a London court in July last year. During that trial he’d wept as he announced he’d “lost everything” due to the allegations levelled against him.

He had denied all charges, insisting the allegations against him were motivated by “money, money and then money.”

The Oscar-winning actor suffered a swift career downturn as the allegations against him surfaced. He was stripped of an international Emmy award, was edited out of the Ridley Scott film All The Money In The World, and had his lead character in the acclaimed HBO series House of Cards abruptly killed off to write him out of the show.

But Spacey does have some powerful allies as he attempts to rebuild his career: Fellow actors Sharon Stone, Stephen Fry, F. Murray Abraham and Liam Neeson have all recently publicly voiced their support for him.

Stone said she “can’t wait to see Kevin back at work.”

“He is a genius. He is so elegant and fun, generous to a fault and knows more about our craft than most of us ever will,” she told the Telegraph in a statement.
