Miley’s dad Billy Ray Cyrus is divorcing his young Aussie wife just months after their wedding – with “fraud” listed as the reason for their split.

The Achy Breaky Heart singer, 62, quietly filed the paperwork in late May, according to documents obtained by Page Six today.

Cyrus cited irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct as the reason for their split, per People. He is also seeking an annulment on the grounds of fraud.

The Australian musician, who notably still goes by Firerose Cyrus on Instagram, posted photos with the rocker as recently as late April.

In fact, the 35-year-old celebrated the pair’s six-month wedding anniversary one month before Cyrus filed to end their union.

The pair appeared loved-up during their brief courtship.

“6 months ago I married this man. Life isn’t always easy … but it sure helps when your husband’s also your best friend. Thank you Lord!,” she wrote on Instagram alongside snaps from their wedding day.

Cyrus also shared several photos of himself and Firerose in April, telling fans he had “so much to be grateful for.”

However, the pair have since unfollowed one another on social media

The pair tied the knot in October 2023, one year after getting engaged.

Billy Ray listed “inappropriate conduct” and “fraud” among the reasons for the split.

“10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony,” the then-newlyweds announced in a joint Instagram post.

“It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined.”

It’s unclear exactly when the pair’s relationship began; however, they worked on a song called “New Day” together in 2021.

Their union was Cyrus’ third marriage — and now third divorce. The country crooner was married to Cindy Smith from 1986 until 1991. Following their split, he wed Tish Cyrus in 1993.

Despite some ups and downs, he and Tish were married for over three decades before they called things off for good in April 2022.

Like Billy Ray, Tish was also quick to move on from their marriage. She wed actor Dominic Purcell in August 2023.

However, their nuptials were reportedly a point of contention within the family, with some of Cyrus’ children not approving of their union.

The exes share three children together: Miley, 31, Braison, 30, and Noah, 24. Billy also adopted Tish’s two children, Brandi, 37, and Trace, 35, from her previous marriage.

Reps for Cyrus did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
