Jennifer Aniston is having a rough week as she films the latest season of The Morning Show on the streets of New York.

Jennifer Aniston was photographed crying and looking shocked while filming Season 4 of The Morning Show.

The Friends star appeared on the red carpet-draped stairs of the New York Public Library on his week, looking all dolled up in a black velvet low-cut gown that was cinched at the waist.

She accessorised with black open-toed heels and minimal jewellery while on set as her character, Alex Levy.

Aniston, 55, was seen walking down the steps while taking a phone call that quickly took an emotional turn as cameras rolled for the Apple TV+ drama series.

The Emmy winner seemed stressed while holding her cellphone to her ear.

She looked up to the sky while crying at one point and later placed her hand over her face while her eyes welled up with tears.

It is unclear which character she was on the phone with during the shoot.

Finally, Aniston took a moment to soak in the evidently upsetting news by sitting down on the stairs and continuing to cry.

The Golden Globe winner’s emotional display came just one day after she filmed a Morning Show scene in which someone threw a bucket of fake oil on her.

She was photographed walking through a staged protest when an attendee doused her with the black liquid.

Aniston acted both shocked and upset as she attempted to wipe herself off and shield her phone.

Her character’s business-casual look, which included a white blouse, was ruined by the oil.

The Murder Mystery actress stars in the hit streaming show alongside Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass and Nestor Carbonell, among others.

Jon Hamm played an Elon Musk-like billionaire — as well as Aniston’s love interest — in Season 3, but it is unknown whether he will have a major role in the forthcoming installment.

Aniston and the Mad Men star, 53, famously got hot and heavy during a steamy scene in the previous season.

The Morning Show revolves around Aniston and Witherspoon’s characters navigating the dramatic world of morning television as they co-anchor the fictional UBA network’s news show.
