AS CLEAVAGE-GATE rumbles on, Susan Sarandon’s son upstages his own mum on the red carpet with this daring outfit.

Susan Sarandon may have covered up her much-talked-about cleavage at Tuesday night’s Zoolander 2 premiere in Manhattan, but that didn’t stop her son from putting his very own chest on display for all to see.

The actresses’ youngest child, Miles Robbins, turned heads in a daring ensemble that consisted of a white shirt-dress — unbuttoned to show off his sparsely haired chest — topped with a sky blue blazer adorned with stuffed unicorn heads.

While the 23-year-old, a product of Sarandon’s decades-long relationship with actor Tim Robbins, is no stranger to adventurous fashion, this get-up was almost certainly a response to the uproar caused by the low-cut outfit his mother wore to the SAG Awards late last month.

Her cleavage-revealing look seemed to get the goat of a number of more conservative-minded viewers, especially failed talk show host Piers Morgan, who called the look “horribly inappropriate”.

Sarandon responded to Morgan’s criticism with — what else? — a picture of herself in a bra:
