Prince Harry urged to ‘swallow his pride’ and meet King Charles during UK visit

Prince Harry could mend fences with his father during his solo trip to London next month with just one move.

'Nobody wants' Prince Harry and Meghan in the UK

A royal expert believes that Prince Harry should make time to see King Charles during his visit to London without his wife Meghan Markle.

The Duke of Sussex is attending the WellChild Awards in the UK on September 7 – a day before the first anniversary of the late Queen’s death.

According to The Sun, Marlene Koenig thinks “this would be a good opportunity for Harry to swallow his pride and see his father privately.”

She added: “It might not be a successful meeting, but I think it is important for the King to see his younger son because he’s made it clear [that] he loves Harry.”

Koenig, speaking to The Express, said that the King “will be spending time quietly at Balmoral on the 8th, perhaps with other members of the family,” and hence why it would be “a good time to visit.”

But nearly a year on from the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke’s relationship with his family is fragile.

As the royals reflect on the passing of the Queen, Prince Harry will be a noticeable absence at Balmoral Castle, which would be the perfect opportunity for reconciliation talks.

While he will be in the country on September 8, it’s claimed he has “no intention” of reuniting with King Charles, Queen Camilla, nor his brother Prince William.

Instead, it’s believed Harry will attend a charity event the night before the one-year anniversary without Meghan Markle, before flying off the next day to Dusseldorf for the Invictus Games.

William no longer speaks to his brother, nor does he appear to want to.

MEGHAN TO MAKE LUCRATIVE INSTAGRAM COMEBACK

Meghan Markle is getting ready to “relaunch” herself on Instagram and experts predict she could make $1 million per post.

The Duchess of Sussex is behind a new account named @meghan, which currently boasts a modest 82,600 followers.

With a profile pic showing pink peonies, Meghan’s favourite flowers, the Instagram account is already followed by several key figures including activist Mandana Dayani, the former president of Archewell, the Sussexes’ media company.

A source told The Mail on Sunday: “Everyone in Hollywood is talking about the relaunch being imminent. Meghan has never made any secret of the fact she wants to return to Instagram.”

Social media expert Eric Schiffer told the Mail on Sunday that Meghan’s return was hardly a “surprise,” especially since she had acquired a new talent manager.

He predicted Meghan would forge shrewd brand partnerships to rake in big bucks.

“I would expect her to quickly become one of the most followed accounts on Instagram,” Schiffer said.

“You have celebrities like the Kardashians who can command $1 million and up for a single post promoting a product. There is no reason Meghan couldn’t be earning those sorts of fees.”

Schiffer said Meghan would have to be careful about the brands she partnered with.

“She has to be careful, as a duchess, to avoid being seen to be hawking every product under the sun. She will align with quality brands and companies that are on point with her political and social beliefs,” he said.

The Duchess of Sussex first set up the handle @meghan when she launched her Spotify podcast, The New York Post reported earlier this month

A source told Page Six: “Meghan was set to go live on Insta but changed her mind shortly before she launched her Archetypes podcast so it’s just sitting there now.”

Meghan has shown her power as an influencer with outfits and bags she has worn selling out.

NuCalm, which sells an anti-stress patch, has seen a spike in sales since the Duchess was photographed wearing a patch on her wrist.
