A lip reader has revealed what cheeky Louis asked his dad during the VE Day parade today – as Kate shared a sweet message to Charlotte.

As Prince Louis, 7, took his seat alongside dad Will, he showed off some adorable dance moves, The Sun reported.

He moved his shoulders from side to side as he looked out into the crowd.

The youngster was then spotted affectionately brushing raindrops off his father’s shoulder.

Prince William turned towards his son and appeared to give him a tap on the leg.

Lip reading expert Nicola Hickling revealed to The Sun that William told Louis: “Look at this I think it’s going to be quite wet today.”

Louis then said to William: “Wasn’t this supposed to be fun”, to which his dad replied: “It is son”.

The dad-of-three also said “you will never forget this” before explaining how the parade will work.

“They will come along here, and then go towards there, and then we will make our way back,” he said.

He added: “It’s not going to be long and I want you to be taking an interest.

Prince George, 11, chimed in: “I’ve got something in my eye.”

The professional lip reader also shared a sweet message from Princess Kate.

The mum-of-three said to her daughter, 10: “Doesn’t papa look smart today”.

Fellow lip reader Jacqui Press also gave her insight into some conversation shared by Queen Camilla and a veteran.

The Queen said: “Ooh it’s much warmer inside it’s cold are you comfortable?”

“Yes I am thank you so much,” he replied.

Meanwhile another gentleman said to Princess Kate: “Lovely to see you with all your family.“

When Kate showed the pictures to her children, she said to her daughter: “Look at his uniform!”

The royal turned back to the veteran and revealed: “Charlotte is very interested in the uniforms.”

“That’s wonderful to know,” he answered.

Meanwhile, during the fly-past, The Sun’s lip reader told how King Charles exclaimed: “Oh look! Oh look. Look at those flags.”

Prince William and George also discussed the aircraft together in a sweet bonding moment.

Looking up Wills asked: “Do you know what it is?”

George responded: “No I think it’s the … typhoon but it has four engines.”

“Ahh, okay,” said his proud dad.

Wills also pointed out another plane, to which Louis shouted: “That’s my favourite.”

Prince William explained to George it has a V8” to which the youngster said “the noise is very loud”.

It comes as the family joined King Charles and Queen Camilla to watch the poignant parade with thousands along The Mall today.

Princess Anne was also spotted arriving at the ceremony by car, as were Prince Edward and his wife Sophie.

Troops paraded along Whitehall and The Mall, in front of thousands of fans, members of the royal family, veterans, and senior officials.

In a touching moment, King Charles was seen saluting cavalry members as they rode by the stage, set out at the Victoria Monument in front of Buckingham Palace.

The King stood tall to pay his respects to the armed forces, with whom the royal family have such a deep connection with.

The King and Queen said previously they were “looking forward” to the week’s events.
