Playful Prince Louis steals the show as royals put on united front after explosive Harry interview

The cheeky seven-year-old stole the show as the royals stepped out in a major sign of unity following Harry’s explosive TV interview.

Prince Louis is up to his usual antics.

The 7-year-old was spotted playing around as he joined the rest of the royal family at an event commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day on Monday.

Louis sat next to his dad Prince William at the Queen Victoria Memorial outside Buckingham Palace and sweetly brushed off the future king’s military uniform and tugged on part of the ensemble, reports the New York Post.

Additionally, the young royal made silly faces and stuck his tongue out during the ceremony, showing off his missing teeth like he did in the photo from his 7th birthday last month.

Louis was seated between William, 42, and older brother Prince George, 11. The siblings both wore suits with ties. Kate and Princess Charlotte, 10, sat beside them in the front row.

Prince Edward, Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence and Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, were also at the commemoration event.

The gathering comes just days after Prince Harry’s bombshell BBC interview, in which he claims dad King Charles “won’t speak” to him as he appealed to maintain his taxpayer-funded security detail since moving to America — which he lost on Friday.

“There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family,” he told the outlet, adding that he didn’t know how long the cancer-stricken monarch had left to live. “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight anymore, life is precious.”

VE Day (Victory in Europe Day) marks the date when World War II officially ended in Europe. William’s great-grandfather King George VI was head of the monarchy at the time.

The British royal family is expected to celebrate VE Day with multiple events throughout the week.

On Thursday, William and Kate will appear at a Service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey.

Monday’s event marked George, Charlotte and Louis’ first public appearance since the Christmas Day church service at Sandringham.

The siblings and their parents skipped the royal family Easter’s celebrations last month. Instead of attending the Easter Matins Service at St George’s Chapel, they celebrated the holiday at Anmer Hall, their Sandringham country estate.
