Nicole Kidman may be on holidays in Australia for a little R&R after another busy working year, but she’s not just sitting pretty by the pool.

The Aussie actress wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty as she returned to her $6.5 million farmhouse in the Southern Highlands of NSW, where she has cows, horses and alpacas running around the sprawling estate she shares with her husband, country music star Keith Urban.

In a sweet photo collage shared on Instagram, Kidman could be seen looking far from glam in her cropped leggings, black puffer jacket, baseball cap and sneakers as she bottle-fed a baby lamb.

“Holiday chores,” the 56-year-old captioned the trio of photos taken at her 45-hectare Bunya Hill property, which the couple purchased in 2008.

Kidman and Urban, who reside in Nashville, Tennessee, are back home in Australia for the Christmas break. The singer arrived in Sydney on December 18 with their daughters, Sunday, 15, and Faith, 13, before Kidman joined them the following day.

In a previous video interview with Vogue, Kidman said that she loves returning to their Bunya Hill home as she likes the simple life.

“The simplicity, the air, the peace,” she told the outlet of the best thing about life on the farm while she gave the cameraman a tour her idyllic farmhouse for Vogue “73 Questions segment.

Elsewhere in the interview, she said the “coolest part about her home” was her “six alpacas” and noted that her husband’s music was “perfect for this countryside activity we have with cows grazing in the backyard”.

Earlier this year, the couple’s application to build a $32,450 gatehouse for an on-site security guard was approved by the local council, reported the Daily Telegraph.

According to court documents obtained by the paper, the couple argued that needed “to have security guards on the premises when they’re at home”.
