Jackie “O” Henderson has angered some fans with a photo posted by her colleague during their holiday in the US.
The radio host is currently in New York City with Kyle & Jackie O Show newsreader Brooklyn Ross and other KIIS FM staffers, and they are naturally sightseeing.
Among their travels, the duo decided to pose in front of Trump Towers on Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan – a skyscraper that belongs to controversial US presidential candidate Donald Trump.
“Fair and Balanced,” Brooklyn captioned the Instagram photo of himself and Jackie looking defiant as they posed in front of the building’s signage.
“Jesus didn’t think you were gonna post it. Kyle will love this lol,” Jackie commented on the photo, referring to her co-host Kyle Sandilands, who is a fan of the former president.
Brooklyn’s Instagram fans were just as baffled with the post, given he has never been a Trump supporter.
“You’ve gone full MAGA bro,” one follower commented, while another bluntly said, “Oh honey, no.”
“You hate him though,” another pointed out. “So this would make you a total hypocrite.”
Yet another left a light comment in reference to Mr Trump’s recent claims that Haitian immigrants eating pets in Springfield, Ohio.
“You having cats or dogs for breakfast?” the follower asked.
For their colleague Kyle, Trump is no laughing matter.
In recent years, Kyle went head-to-head with Jamie Lee Curtis after the Hollywood star appeared on the breakfast show and said Mr Trump was “not a good person”.
“I like the bad arse-ness. I just like that he does outrageous things, but there’s a lot I don’t like,” Kyle argued, while adding that the controversial politician “gives me hope”.
And this year, following the first assassination attempt on Mr Mr Trump, Kyle issued a lifetime ban on US rockers Tenacious D for a bandmate’s controversial comment.
The band, consisting of actor Jack Black and Kyle Gass, were in Australia at the time when he was nearly shot dead at a rally in Pennsylvania.
At their concert in Sydney, Black brought out a birthday cake for Gass and asked him to make a wish. The birthday boy replied: “Don’t miss Trump next time.”
“So, that guy wishes death on Trump,” Kyle said on radio the next morning. “A note to our talent bookers, I will not be participating in any future Tenacious D interviews.”
“Someone wishing someone dead that nearly got assassinated, all jokes aside, it’s too much for me,” he added. “Anyone who wishes someone else dead, legit is just a piece of s**t.”
