JAMIE Lee Curtis’ interview on Australian radio turned into a war of words after Donald Trump’s name was brought up.

Her appearance on the Kyle and Jackie O Show had been going smoothly enough until Kyle Sandilands mentioned the US President in passing.

“Don’t even,” Curtis interrupted. “I mean look, he’s not a good person.”

When Jackie pointed out that Kyle was a fan of the US President things got even more awkward, with the shock jock trying to justify his opinion for Curtis.

“I like the bad arse-ness,” Kyle said. “I just like that he does outrageous things, but there’s a lot I don’t like.”

“But that’s just being outrageous,” she countered. I’m not going to fight, I’m just saying that this is the president of the United States of America.”

But Kyle didn’t give up, arguing that Mr Trump “gives me hope” that he too could succeed in politics because “I’m a loudmouth”.

“But dude!” Curtis interrupted. “You’ve never met a louder mouth than me!”

Kyle made one last attempt to persuade the Halloween star, arguing that the country was doing better under Mr Trump.

“From the news we get it’s nice that unemployment is down that the market’s up,” he said.

“By the way we can’t say that’s him,” Curtis replied. “That’s just the market economy doing its thing, it goes up and it goes down.”

As the pair continued to go back and forth, Curtis said: “You and I are going to come to blows, I think.”

But as the interview wrapped up she insisted that there was no hard feelings between her and Kyle.

“It’s not going to be an argument, it’s all good,” she said.
