At the time, the Top Gun star was photographed beaming while Connor put on a calm face following the aerial outing.

Connor also made a rare public appearance with the actor for a Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning promo event in New York City in July 2023.

Tom and Nicole, who were married from 1990 to 2001, adopted Isabella and Connor in 1992 and 1995, respectively.

Following their split, Isabella and Connor chose to stay in Los Angeles with Tom while the Moulin Rogue star moved back to Australia.

“I’m very private about all that. I have to protect all those relationships. I know 150 per cent that I would give up my life for my children because it’s what my purpose is,” she said.

The Big Little Lies star noted that her children followed in their father’s footsteps to become Scientologists while she exited the church in the ’90s.
