A movie star has shared some sweet snaps of her daughter on her 16th birthday and fans have been left stunned their likeness.

Jessica Alba’s eldest daughter, Honor, has just turned 16, and fans can’t believe how much she looks like her movie star mum.

Alba is best known for her work in early 2000s films like Good Luck Chuck, Into The Blue, and Sin City.

In true Gwyneth Paltrow style, she transitioned from acting into running her wellness brand, Honest Company.

While she still does some acting, she’s moved into a more private era.

Still, that didn’t stop the mum from gushing about her eldest daughter on Instagram, along with a carousel of photos of the teenager.

The proud mum, who shares her daughter with film producer Cash Warren, admitted that she was crying while writing the loving caption and called being a mum the “most tender” feeling in the world.

Alba praised her daughter for being sweet, but wise, and good at allowing only people she trusted to be close to her.

This is probably a handy habit when your mum’s a movie star.

“You sniff out fake people like no other. You are effortless in standing in your truth, you are considerate and kind and you care deeply about everyone around you,” she gushed.

Alba added that she was proud her daughter always chose doing what is right over doing what is cool, and putting her mental wellness first.

“You are a powerhouse of a human, and you are only 16! We are all so blessed, my baby, and I feel tremendously grateful for our relationship and our bond,” she wrote.

“I love you more than words could ever express. You are growing up way too fast for me, but I couldn’t be more proud.”

Alba shared many photos alongside the sweet post, and one highlighted that Honor is now taller than her.

The many images also showed that Honor looks like her mum, with the same stunning complexion and wavy hair. The likeness is so clear that they are in Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava’s territory.

Fans were quick to comment on their delight at the fact that Honor looks like a carbon copy of her mum.

“You look like her sister,” one wrote, and a string of similar comments followed.

“Your absolute mini version of yourself, now not so mini anymore.”

“She’s beautiful like you, Jessica.”

“So beautiful, she’s your twin. “

Alba and Warren are also parents to Haven, 12 and Hayes, 6.

In 2022 Alba appeared on Dear Media’s Raising Good Humans podcast and shared what she found difficult about parenting.

“That is the hardest part about being a parent is allowing your kids to make a mistake and knowing when it is going to be too hard or too much and then you’re like, I guess nothing’s too much,” she said.

Alba explained that while it is hard to watch her children fumble, she knows it is part of life.

“They’re not mistakes, they’re lessons, and they’re meant to go through the challenges and it’s meant to bring them out the other side,” she said.
