Today host Karl Stefanovic's daughter Willow was spotted over the weekend looking loved-up on a Sydney beach with her new boyfriend.

Willow, 19, has been dating Argentinian athlete Genaro Abdola for the past few months.

Little is known about Abdola, but the pair are believed to have met Stefanovic when she was in Aspen for Christmas last year.

“Willow has fallen for a wealthy Argentinian polo player who works in business banking and finance – his name is Genaro Abdola and if she’s smitten, he’s head over heels!” a source told Woman’s Day when their relationship was revealed.

Willow is the eldest daughter of Stefanovic and his ex-wife, Cassandra Thorburn, and is actually named Ava but prefers to go by her middle name.

Her return to Australia comes after she moved to the UK to study at the London College of Fashion.

She started to pursue a modelling career in high school.

Before she’d even graduated high school, she’d signed with modelling agency Precision.

“Dad backs me 100 per cent as long as I’m happy. We all know I didn’t get my fashionista gene from him,” she told Stellar in 2021.

Her father gushed over his teenage daughter’s career ambitions at the time, saying that the entire family “fully support Willow in wherever her heart takes her”.

“She doesn’t go into anything blindly, especially the fashion world. She’s a strong, independent young woman and wants to pursue lots of things in life. We love her spirit,” he said.

Willow has two younger brothers, Jackson and River, and a young half-sister Harper May, from her father’s marriage to fashion designer Jasmine Yarbrough.
