The scorching Sydney weather over the weekend had many flocking to the beach, including some very famous faces.

Jackie O's emotional drug addiction confession

The glorious Sydney weather over the weekend had many flocking to the beach, including Jackie “O” Henderson and Jamie Durie.

With the mercury rising and the sun scorching, the radio personality hit Clovelly Beach on Sunday wearing a black and white bikini top and high-waisted swim skirt – the same swimwear she rocked last summer when she was also seen frolicking in the rock pool.

The Kyle & Jackie O Show co-host, 49, accessorised with a pair of Ray-Bans, managing to look super-chic even in beach attire.

The lifestyle overhaul Henderson underwent in recent years was on display with star looking happy, healthy and relaxed.

In her recent memoir The Whole Truth, she revealed that a stint in rehab for a secret addiction battle was her catalyst for change.

At the height of her addiction, Henderson was taking up to 24 codeine tablets daily and up to 14 sleeping pills, all while washing them down with alcohol.

Her unhealthy habits saw her weight increase to 85kg. She has now been sober for two years after checking herself into the Betty Ford Clinic in California in 2022, and has since lost 18kg now that she leads a healthier lifestyle.

“My life is so much better being sober. I can’t imagine ever wanting to go back there, she shared on the Mental As Anyone podcast earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Jamie Durie was also spotted at a nearby Sydney beach on Sunday.

The TV host and celebrity landscaper was in his element, surfing in a pair of colourful board shorts.

The Seven personality – he currently hosts 7Plus’ news lifestyle show Growing Home With Jamie Durie – loves the pastime so much, he was seen back in June spending his 54th birthday surfing in Palm Beach.

Durie doesn’t need to venture far from home to soak up those water views.

He and his fiancee Ameka Jane and their young children recently moved into their six-storey waterfront house in Avalon Beach on the Northern Beaches.

The house has been a labour of love for the TV personality. It was initially a cottage when he bought it many years ago, only to knock it down and build a $2.7 million mega-mansion on the stunning property.

“It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to build an off-the-grid house,” he told Woman’s Day earlier this year.

“Ten years ago I sketched the house. We lodged the plans five years ago and then the last two years has been construction.

“It’s been the toughest project I have ever taken on in my whole life,” says Jamie. “I’m sorry for the stress this has put on our family.”

The couple share two children, daughter Beau, 3, and son Nash, 1. He also has a daughter Taylor, believed to be in her later twenties, from a previous relationship.
