An exciting new local comedy series is reportedly that good, the lead actors have told viewers they can "cancel" their streaming subscription if they don't immediately fall in love with it.

Binge today revealed its upcoming original TV show, Colin From Accounts, is set to premiere on December 1, as it also dropped a one-minute trailer for the series.

The show features an all-star local cast, including Offspring’s Patrick Brammall and The Invisible Man’s Harriet Dyer, who will lead the ensemble, and the pair have made a bold declaration about the series - such is their confidence in it.

“We're THRILLED to share Colin From Accounts with Australia from December 1st. Honestly, just check out the first two minutes - if you're not into it by then, cancel your Binge subscription! We're that confident you'll like it," the duo said in a statement.

The show also stars Helen Thomson (Elvis), Emma Harvie (Frayed), Genevieve Hegney (Young Rock), Michael Logo (Love Me), and Tai Hara (Home And Away).

Colin From Accounts - which was filmed in Sydney - is an eight-episode comedy following the lives of Ashley (Dyer) and Gordon (Brammall), two complex individuals who are brought together by a car accident and an injured dog.

An official synopsis reads: “Colin From Accounts is about flawed, funny people choosing each other and being brave enough to show their true self, scars and all, as they navigate life together.”

Colin From Accounts will premiere December 1 on Binge.

The series is produced by Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios, and is directed by Trent O’Donnell (No Activity), Matt Moore (The Great) and (Harriet’s older sister) Madeleine Dyer (Sexy Herpes). Executive producers include Brammall, Dyer, O’Donnell, Binge executive director Alison Hurbert-Burns and Foxtel Group’s executive director of television Brian Walsh.

“The team has assembled a stellar mix of local talent led by Patrick and Harriet, that will bring this story, packed with humour and plenty of heart, to life,” Hurbert-Burns said.

“We have had so much fun shooting this new original, Colin From Accounts, across Sydney suburbs including Marrickville, Leichhardt and Redfern and can’t wait to bring it to Binge viewers.”

The series is distributed outside Australia and New Zealand by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group, with major production funding from Screen Australia and support from Screen NSW.
