Australian streaming service Binge* has just announced the launch of its very own podcast, Skip Intro, with new episodes dropping each Thursday,
The half-an-hour show will guide listeners on everything new coming to the platform, as it recaps and dissects the biggest moments from the world’s most talked about shows.
Skip Intro is hosted by TV lovers and Binge employees, executive director Alison Hurbert-Burns and head of content John Beohm, with the pair providing an expert insider’s guide to the must watch shows on Binge.
Beohm said he hoped the podcast would help streamers with one of their biggest predicaments – what to watch next.
“Skip Intro is here to help audiences discover their next binge watch. From cultural phenomenon’s like Euphoria, the latest British miniseries This Is Going To Hurt, under the radar series like the Danish drama Kamikaze or compelling docos like Phoenix Rising we are your weekly guide to the best shows you need to be watching on Binge.”
Hurbert-Burns said she’d been working with Beohm for years, and was looking forward to giving audiences a “shortcut” to finding their next TV obsession.
