Fox Sports presenter stuns after doing the unthinkable live on air

A popular presenter has opened up about her live on air accident that would comfortably be every newsreader’s worst nightmare.

Fox Sports presenter Charmaine Mifsud has stunned her social media followers after doing the unthinkable live on air.

The former Channel 7 and Sky News reporter sat behind the desk and did what most newsreader’s would consider their worst nightmare … she did it make-up free.

Mifsud revealed the incident unfolded after she mistakenly believed her time on the air had finished for the day.

After walking away from the desk, she removed her make-up only to be called upon to deliver another bulletin.

Despite it all, Mifsud took to social media to reveal the moment felt “amazing”.

“Anchoring the news without makeup (accidentally) for the first time … and it felt amazing,” she captioned the upload showing off the footage of her presenting.

Mifsud said the moment felt amazing.

Her post on Instagram was met with a flood of comments showing her love for doing what most presenter’s wouldn’t dream to do.

Channel 7 presenter Jelisa Apps wrote: “I think you only posted the before you took it off!?!?”

A second wrote: “You are glowing.”

A third commented: “Sis you’re stunning.”

A fourth posted: “How it should be done. She is raising the bar.”

Mifsud went viral after posting a moment with Brisbane Broncos star Reece Walsh on her TikTok account from 2023, which you can watch in the video player above.

The incident saw the presenter delivering a cross from the Broncos training ground when Walsh approaches from the distance.

The star fullback can be seen making a beeline for the camera, sneaking up directly behind the unaware Mifsud.

As he draws closer Walsh startles her which, as you can expect, causes her to shriek in fear with Walsh jogging away in hysterics.

Mifsud took it all in stride as she broke out in laughter before returning to front the camera.

The post has so far attracted 3.8m views.
