Mr Skuse asked for an adjournment as the defence was still waiting for further material to be disclosed by the police.

Ms Hazard and Lachlan Mark Freund, 25, are each charged with murder arising from Mr Morgan’s death.

Police claim Mr Morgan was shot as he drove on Ruthven St near Downlands College in the early hours of March 15, 2022.

Despite his wounds, Mr Morgan walked to his girlfriend’s home in Harlaxton from where an ambulance was called.

He was later transported from Toowoomba Hospital to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane where he eventually succumbed to his injuries on May 16, 2022.

Ms Hazard’s case was adjourned for two weeks and she was remanded in custody.
