A 24-YEAR-OLD Toowoomba man who was the victim of a Ruthven St shooting in March remains in a serious condition in a Brisbane hospital.

Thor Stephen Morgan was to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Wednesday on more than 20 charges.

However, his solicitor Brad Skuse, of Skuse Graham Lawyers told the court the 24-year-old remained in hospital and asked for a three to four month adjournment as it was not known when his client would be released from hospital.

Police believe Morgan was tracked by a group of people from his girlfriend’s house in Coonan St, Harlaxton, about 2am, March 15, and ambushed in his car on Ruthven St near Downlands College.

Police investigations into the shooting are ongoing and no-one has as yet been charged.

It is believed the shooters were in a white Ford Ranger dual cab utility which was later found torched in Felton.

Morgan was scheduled to appear in the Magistrates Court on Wednesday on a total 24 charges including drugs, weapons, property and traffic matters.

Acting Magistrate Kay Ryan adjourned all matters for mention back in the same court on July 20.
