A Yelarbon woman who had been missing since Christmas Eve has been found safe.
Police mounted a search and rescue operation for Pauline Steepe on Thursday, December 26, involving SES and officers searching on foot, and urged motorists who might have passed through Yelarbon to reach out if they had any information.
She has since been found safe on Friday morning.
Pauline Steepe was last seen on Kaboon St in Yelarbon, 50km east of Goondiwindi, in the Darling Downs, around 2pm, Tuesday, December 24.
Police asked residents of Yelarbon to check their yards, properties and sheds for Ms Steepe, and are working with the State Emergency Service to search nearby areas on foot.
