Police investigating Wine Estate home invasion

Two men forced their way into a suburban Toowoomba home overnight in a terrifying home invasion that left two people hospitalised.

Police are on the hunt for two men who forced their way into a Wine Estate home overnight and assaulted the occupants in a terrifying home invasion.

Initial investigations indicate about10pm two men have entered a Malbec Court residence in Wilsonton Heights. .

They are reported to have assaulted a man, aged in his 20s and a woman, aged in her 30s, and stole a phone before they fled in a Honda Civic.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics assessed the man and woman for minor injuries and transported them to Toowoomba Base Hospital in a stable condition.

Anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage, or may have witnessed anything in or around Malbec Court around 10pm is urged to contact the police.
