A police investigation is underway to hunt relentless thieves who forced their way into a Torrington hire business three times in just eight days.

They first entered the Boundary Street business after hours on September 9 and stole cash.

Sensing a soft target the offenders returned a second time but only got a hold of a small amount of money.

They tried again on Friday but left empty-handed.

In unrelated matters thieves entered a Wuth Street home by an unlocked sliding door in the early hours of Monday morning and stole a laptop.

Thieves also broke into a nearby home, in Kratzmann Court and stole a collection of tablets and other personal electronic devices.

Anyone with information about any of the offences is urged to phone Policelink on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
