Police are on the hunt for a rogue motorist who intentionally drove over several traffic signs, all within a short time frame.
Highfields Senior Sergeant Stephen Gillinder said the driver of a white ute was observed driving over traffic signs on Finch Way in Kleinton, a stop sign on the Polzin Road and Highfields Road intersection, a keep left sign on Highfields Road and Highgrove Road intersection and a lamp post on Highgrove Road, on March 5.
“Investigations are continuing, and police are appealing to the public of any dash camera or home CCTV footage of the incident to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers,” Sgt Gillinder said.
In an unrelated matter, an unknown person is wanted after they stole from the Australian Defence Force.
On March 24, the offender entered a construction site at the Borneo Barracks in Cabalah and stole a quantity of electrical cable valued at $200.
The barracks is home to the Defence Force School of Signals.
In the early hours of the March 11 unknown offenders walking along Charmaine Court in Kleinton damaged a letterbox and a fence at two addresses in the same street.
Investigations into all matters continue and anyone with information should phone Policelink on 131 444 or the Highfields Police Station on 4614 7444.
