Toowoomba police claim Mr Gower organised more than 1000 drug deals and allege that the amount of crystal meth found in his possession exceeded schedule three but less than schedule four – so between 2g and 200g.

The cannabis allegedly located by police also exceeded schedule three of the criminal code, which is 500 grams or 100 plants, and has a street value between $2200 and $5000 depending on if the plant matter was naturally grown or a modified strain.

Mr Gower remains on bail and was not required to be in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 24, when his matters were mentioned.

His solicitor Callum Wood told the court the matters would proceed by way of registry committal up to the higher court to be dealt with.

Magistrate Kay Philipson therefore enlarged Mr Gower’s bail and adjourned the case for mention back in the Magistrates Court on November 21 by which time it was envisaged the matters would have gone up to the higher court by registry committal.
