Emergency services respond to serious single-vehicle crash in Highfields
Emergency services have responded to a serious crash that has left a person in a life-threatening condition, the second incident to take place on Darling Downs roads in a day.

Emergency services have responded to the second serious crash in the Toowoomba region on the one day after a car hit a pole north of the city.
Queensland Fire Department crews and Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics rushed to the scene of the crash along Prospect Terrace in Highfields about 4.20pm Monday after a car reportedly left the road and hit a light pole.
A QAS spokeswoman said one person has suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash.
Earlier in the day a 77-year-old Darling Downs man died after his vehicle left the road and hit a tree on Connolly Rd at Geham.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and anyone with information is urged to contact police.
