A mechanical mishap has been reported as the likely cause of fire that destroyed a Proton Jumbuck in a Kearneys Spring carpark.
Police and firefighters were called to the blaze about 2.30pm on Thursday and found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said the fire was under control within 15 minutes and that no one was injured.
Police are treating the fire as non suspicious with the it suspected to have ignited after the ute backfired.
