A midnight break and enter has left doors and screens smashed in at a cafe in south east Toowoomba.
Police were called out to Aromas Cafe at High St Plaza in Rangeville around midnight on Wednesday after reports of a break and enter, a police spokeswoman said.
Photos of the damage was posted to the cafe’s social media page on Wednesday morning.
By early afternoon the busy cafe was back in service and the damage to the doors had been fixed, said owner and chef Suman Khatri.
He declined to comment further.
Aromas Cafe was taken over by three entrepreneurial brothers Pradip Bista, Suman Khatri and Yubee Khatri in 2020.
After getting through the pandemic lockdowns they combined their cooking skills and fresh local produce knowledge to build up a busy cafe in High St Plaza.
Police said they are investigating the incidence.
