Well, one hot World of Outlaws Sprintcar driving ace is at least.

American Lucas Wolfe will make his debut as a World Series Sprintcar contracted driver in 2019/20.

This year’s series includes racing at Brisbane Speedway on January 4 and Toowoomba Hi-Tec Oils Speedway on Sunday night January 5.

The series starts on Boxing Day in Murray Bridge, South Australia.

Wolfe lives in Mechanicsburg in Pennsylvania and is no stranger to World Series competition, having stood on the podium on two occasions.

This season however will see Wolfe make his first tilt at an outright World Series Championship, as he teams up with the Brisbane based Ayers Motorsport.

Wolfe is the latest announcement in what is set to be one of the most competitive contracted driver line ups yet.

Wolfe began racing full-time in the World of Outlaws 2008 and won World of Outlaw Rookie that Year.

During his Sprintcar career, Wolfe’s accomplishments include 22 race wins, 22 fastest qualifying time awards, 10 awards for passing the most cars during a race, and 5 track records.

He won his first World of Outlaws feature event in August of 2012, at Bloomington Speedway, leading the race for the final 22 laps.

Australian Brooke Tatnell who has made a career of racing Sprintcars in America has confirmed he will be back in Australia and will do all 14 series rounds.

He is five-time Australian champion and holds the all-time record for feature wins in World Series Sprintcars with 77 victories.

He is undoubtedly the most successful driver in World Series Sprintcars history winning the series nine times.

He makes his long-awaited return home to Australia as a contracted driver this summer.
