WITH the rain continuing into the week more trainings and sporting carnivals have been washed out.

Toowoomba Regional Council fields in Toowoomba and Highfields were closed as of yesterday which has affected many clubs throughout the region.

If a facility is closed on a Friday it will remain closed over the weekend

This weekend's cricket, baseball and softball games are also at risk of being called off if the predicted rain continues.
