We reveal who has starred in the opening month of Toowoomba Basketball Summer League

We are now a month into the Toowoomba Basketball Summer League season and we have shone a light on the top three players from each competition. From A-grade to C-grade, to the junior and senior 3x3 competitions, see which players make the list from your team here.

The opening month of the Toowoomba Basketball Summer League campaign has seen plenty of stellar individual performances.

From Mountaineers stars, the young prodigies, there has been no shortage of talent.

From A-grade to C-grade, to the junior and senior 3x3 competitions, we reveal the players who have starred this month.

A-grade men

Jolon Seaby (Saints)

Averaging 24 points through the first three games of the season, Seaby is the leading scorer for A-grade.

He was the star of the show in round 3 as he scored 32 points, including four three-pointers in a victory over the Runnin Rebels.

Zachary Collins (Runnin Rebels)

Collins has been a reliable operator throughout the opening three rounds of the campaign, scoring 20, 23 and 13 points.

He is one of only three A-grade players to have surpassed 50 points through the first three games of the season.

Adam Gehrig (Eagles)

The Mountaineers QSL superstar is the only other A-grade player to surpass the 50-point mark this season.

While he had a quiet round 3 where he scored only nine points, Gehrig was on fire in the first two rounds, scoring 44 points across the two clashes.

B-grade men

Jaydan Clark (Tropics)

Clark has led the scoring in B-grade this season with 71 points in four games.

The Tropics star has been on fire from deep, making at least three three-pointers in every game.

Brysan Weribone (Serpents)

Weribone has been one of the most consistent performers for the Serpents, scoring 13, 14, 15 and 15 points.

His shooting has been a joy to behold as he had made more threes than twos, scoring 13 triples, including eight in his last two games.

Bailey Glasscock (Nuggets)

Glasscock has been a solid contributor for the Nuggets this season, with 62 points in five games, with a top score of 16 against Hilltop.

C-grade men

Zachary Heilig (Flight Crew)

Heilig has been a force to be reckoned with this season as he reached the 100-point mark after just five games.

He scored at least 20 points in his first four games, with a season-high of 25 coming against the Bricklayers, where he picked up 25 points.

Jirah Luck (Queens Park Cannons)

Luck is a dangerous scorer when he heats up and averages more than 24 points per game after his opening four clashes.

He showed off his game-changing ability in the clash against the Snipers, where he made 13 field goals, to score 32 points.

Matt Solomon (Catalyst)

Solomon has been a reliable scorer for Catalyst, chipping in with close to 15 points per game after five matches.

He has scored at least 10 points in every game with his best performance against the Snipers, where he scored 23 points.

Women’s

Kelly Watts (Old Ballers)

Watts is the leading scorer in the women’s competition with 97 points in five games.

She showed her class against the Flamingos, where she scored 28 points.

Lara Yaxley (Runnin Rebels)

When Yaxley heats up, there are few players who can stop her.

She scored a monstrous 40 points against the Saints Shockers to start her season in a clash where she made a stunning 19 field goals.

Rhiannon Phelan (Runnin Rebels)

Another star within the Rebels ranks, Phelan has notched up 91 points across four games, including a 34-point outing against Eagles Wildfire.

She is dangerous on all levels, which was shown in her 27-point performance against Flamingos where she made six two-pointers and five threes.

Women’s 3x3

Halle Shipton (MATH)

Shipton currently leads the competition in points scored with 49 points in six matches, scoring at least 10 points in two of those clashes.

Laura Conway (Small Ball)

Conway has been another standout performer in the 3x3 competition, picking up 40 points across five games.

Millie Natalier (MATH)

When Natalier is in form, there have been few players who can stop her as she averages a competition high 9.3 points per game.

Her best performance was against the Milkos where she scored 11 points.

Junior 3x3

Theo Mooketsi (Eagles)

Mooketsi has started the season strongly with 23 points in two games.

Oliver Martyr (Grizzlies)

With 27 points from just three games, Martyr has asserted himself as an offensive weapon this year.

He scored an amazing 17 points against The Pinnacle Pentagons in a stellar all-round performance.

Kobe Guok (KWM)

Guok has started his season strongly with 24 points in two games, including a 17-point outing against Centenary HSH Gold.
