Round 6 of the Toowoomba A-grade cricket season saw the Bulldogs break through to claim their first win of the season as they defeated University in a thriller at USQ Oval.
After a Dean Sullivan inspired Uni scored 217 batting first, the injury ravaged Highfields chased down the total in the final over of the game.
Over at the Captain Cook Reserve, the Trojans solidified their spot in the top two with a comfortable victory over Souths.
Bowling first, Met-Easts held the Magpies to 8-183 after 40 overs then chased down the total with four overs to spare thanks to an unbeaten 94 from captain Ben Brocherie.
