UPDATE: Tournament pacesetter Brad Kennedy continues to defy his rivals as he clings to a two-shot lead at the halfway point of today’s final Coca-Cola Queensland PGA Championhip round at City Golf Club.
Kennedy has moved to -15 after starting the day at -14 but the expected challenges from his nearby rivals haven’t eventuated yet.
Dimitros Papadatos has emerged to be in equal second spot with Anthony Quayle at -13.
Gatton’s Andrew Dodt produced one of the best rounds of the day with a six-under 64 catapulting him up the leaderboard into a tie for seventh.
Jordan Zunic also posted a 64 with Paul Hayden carding a 63.
EARLIER: The last group of players -including leader Brad Kennedy (-14) is preparing to hit off in the final round of this year’s Coca-Cola Queensland PGA Championship at City Golf Club.
Kennedy tees off alongside Anthony Quayle (-13) and Michael Sim (-12) at 11am.
A field of 53 players will this afternoon vie for $150,000 in prize money.
Kennedy held a five-stroke championship lead at the beginning of round three but is now under siege with more than a dozen players within striking distance of winning the title.
