RACING : Trainers Troy Pascoe and Brett Cavanough will be looking to end an already successful week on a high note then they both saddle up several strong fancies tomorrow at Clifford Park.
Pascoe continued his profitable start to the year when Victory Dance added to stablemate Mishani El Lobo’s Eagle Farm win earlier this month with his Clifford Park victory on Tuesday.
Meanwhile Cavanough was also successful at Clifford Park on Tuesday when Rhyming Puppet (Emma Ljung) scored for his travelling Scone team.
Pascoe is represented tomorrow by Rapido Gris and Line Up in the Pride’s Easifeed Biomare Cubes Class 2 Handicap (1210m).
Rapido Gris put the writing on the wall for an upcoming return to the winner’s circle last time out when a close-up third behind Kasita in a Clifford park Three-Year-Old Class 2 (1100m) on January 24.
Pascoe also saddles resuming Column in the Pride’s Easifeed Easiperformance Benchmark 58 Handicap (1300m) and Star Adele who also resumes in the Pride’s Easifeed Racing Cube Class 4 Handicap (1050m).
Star Adele clashes with the Cavanough-trained Another Sin who returns this week from a four-month spell.
Another Sin won a Clifford Park Class 5 (1100m) last September.
Another Sin will be ridden by Emma Ljung who also teams with Cavanough in the Pride’s. Exceptional. Always. Class 1 Plate (1640m) with Lucky Siren.
# TODAY’S Lockyer Valley Turf Club meeting has been abandoned due to the state of the track.
# RACING is scheduled to return tomorrow to Nanango where the track yesterday was rated as a Good 4.
Six races are due to start at 12.55pm.
