He found the boundary line six times with Uni securing a nail biting four run win.

2. Michael Sheehan (Uni Phoenix)

Sent into bat by Western Districts, Uni were in early trouble at 1-8.

Sheehan hit 17 boundaries and two sixes during his stint at the crease.

1. Robert Fenwick (Northern Brothers Diggers)

Diggers next best scorer was Daniel Baxter with 12.

6. Damon Rowe (Uni Bush Chooks)

Rowe combined with teammate Allan Peake to expertly steer his team to victory, but he earns a higher spot on our list by way of scoring more runs.

Hitting the ball at a strike rate just short of 130 he scored 80 off 62 balls.

5. Anthony Guse (Northern Brothers Diggers Blue)

With his team chasing a mammoth 283 for victory, the Diggers opener set about chasing down the total in quick fashion.

Guse fell agonisingly short of a century hitting 90 off 98 balls.

Diggers finished at 5-251 in their second innings against Souths Ravens.

4. Matt Cox (Western Districts Warriors)

Batting at No. 5, Cox turned the tide with a key stand in the middle order.

Wiggins ultimately guided his side to victory with a quickfire 52 off 45 balls.

2. Robert Fenwick (Northern Brothers Diggers Gold)

The Diggers skipper made the right call after winning the toss and electing to bat first.

Opening the proceedings for his side, Fenwick laid the perfect platform scoring 104 runs off 109 balls.

Diggers posted 8-236 off their 40 overs, and Fenwick, who was bowled by Metropolitan-Easts’ Tom Galbraith with 221 runs on the board, almost went the distance.

Fenwick scored 40 runs through boundaries and cleared the ropes five times.

1. Mohit Kalra (South Crows)

Northern Brothers Diggers Blue were left to rue their decision to send Crows into bat after winning the toss.

ROUND 2

10. Glen Reardon (Souths Crows)

Reardon and Mohit Kalra put their clubmates to the sword in arguably the most impressive opening partnership of any grade at the weekend.

The pair combined for 109 runs with Reardon scoring 59 off just 50 balls before losing his wicket.

9. Jack Wiggins (Uni Phoenix)

The middle order scored more than a third of his side’s runs – with Phoenix posting a competitive 195 runs.

Hitting the ball at perfect 100 strike rate, Wiggins scored an unbeaten 66 runs off 66 balls.

8. Stephen Follett (Souths Magpies)

A handful of Magpies bats got off to a good start, but only Follett and teammate Ranjit Singh Dhillon were able to go on with it.

Batting down the order Follett hit 62 off 39 balls at a strike rate of nearly 160.

7. John Kaarsberg (South Crows)

Kaarsberg produced an exciting ‘stand and deliver’ innings in the middle order for Crows.

The Crows clearly won the battle of the birds and Kaarsberg was one of several batters who enjoyed a big day out.

6. Michael Leeder (Northern Brothers Diggers Blue)

With his side chasing an impressive 219 for victory, Leeder did everything he possibly could with the bat in hand.

After producing a 59-run partnership with fellow opener Anthony Guse (41 off 37) Leeder went on to score 76 off 86 balls.

Chasing 219 for victory, Diggers fell 11 runs short but things would’ve been a lot different if not for Leeder.

5. Jedd Fegan (Uni Bush Chooks)

He wasn’t as economical as teammate Joel Ridley who also features on this list, but Fegan was no less impressive.

Fegan tidied up the Met Easts middle and lower order finishing with 4-20.

4. Stephen Bowles (South Ravens)

The Ravens skipper had a day out against Northern Brothers Diggers Blue.

Bowles took a catch, ran out Frederick Bellert and was the pick of his side’s bowlers finishing with 3-18.

Batting at No. 9 Bowles also finished as the Ravens top scorer.

His 36 off 22 balls proved vital with Ravens, who posted 218 runs, going on to win by 10 runs.

The opener hit eight boundaries and four majors in his impressive knock with his team going on to post a mammoth 392 after winning the toss and electing to bat first.

Hitting the ball at a strike rate just shy of 211, Yung scored 66 of runs through boundaries or sixes (six 4s, seven 6s).

1. Joel Ridley (Uni Bush Chooks)

The Uni bowler was unplayable at the weekend.

After knocking over Hugo Cavanagh’s stumps just as the Met Easts bat was settling in, Ridley went on to finish with 4-9.

Ridley bowled three maidens in his seven over spell with the ball.

The Chooks rolled Met Easts for a lowly 58 runs inside 20 overs before going on to win comfortably and Ridley was the key man.

Round 1

10. Emily Hewitt (Western Districts Warriors)

Hewitt was the pick of the all bowlers in her side’s clash with University Bush Chooks.

She locked down her end with an economical 3-21 off 7 overs.

9. Kane Peters (Met Easts)

With his side chasing 143 for victory, Peters played a leading hand steadying the middle order in what was ultimately a game winning knock.

With a steady flow of wickets falling around him he was patient hitting 42 not out off 64 balls.

More than half his runs (24) came off boundaries.

8. Briac Williams (Northern Brothers Diggers Blue)

He scored half the runs of teammate Anthony Guse but Williams was no less impressive in Diggers’ seven wicket win over Highfields Railways.

Batting at No. 4, Williams belted 43 off just 21 balls.

Williams hit 6 boundaries and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 204.76.

7. Tom Moscou (Uni Bush Chooks)

The first drop batsmen was at the crease much earlier than expected against Wests.

With his team in trouble at 1-16 and then 3-52, Moscou was a steadying influence.

His 62 off 68 balls helped Uni put on competitive (180 runs) total on the board.

6. Jack Jellicoe (Met Easts)

Jellicoe tore through the Magpies middle order on Saturday.

The Met Easts bowler was right on the money taking 4-20 off 5 overs.

5. Ranjit Singh Dhillon (Souths Magpies)

Souths have Dhillon to thank for posting a competitive total.

Opening the batting Dhillon produced a classy half century scoring 59 of 69 balls.

Chasing 143 runs for victory Met Easts wrapped up the game in the 34th over but things would’ve been a lot easier for them if not for Dhillon’s heroics.

4. Jordan Drover (Northern Brothers Diggers Blue)

Young gun Jordan Drover picked apart the Highfields middle order in an impressive display with the ball.

The 15-year-old pace bowler claimed 4-31 off 6 overs to help steer his side to victory

3. Matt Cox (Western Districts Warriors)

At 6-98 in the 30th over Wests should never have been in a position to win this game – Cox however had other ideas.

Batting at No. 8 Cox produced a swashbuckling 54 off 32 balls (8 boundaries).

Wests fell short, finishing with 7-175 off their 40 overs, but Cox did everything he possibly could to seal what would’ve been a fantastic win.

2. Anthony Guse (Northern Brothers Diggers Blue)

Guse put Highfields Railways to the sword at the weekend.

With his team chasing 172 for victory, Guse set the tone early and often.

Guse smashed an unbeaten 81 off 68 balls including 8 boundaries and 5 sixes.

1. Noah Pattison (Souths Ravens)

Pattinson produced a man of the match performance in his side’s win over University Phoenix.

He was the pick of the Ravens bowlers taking 3-23 off his 8 overs before backing up with a match winning knock with the bat.

Building off the platform laid by teammates Chris Leonard (30 off 45), Jackson Jones (23 off 35) and Gavin Pattinson (25 off 49), Noah produced a quickfire 44 not out off 31 balls.

Noah hit 7 boundaries and six batting in the middle order.
