Sharks celebrate 50th anniversary with A-grade men’s premiership

Sharks capped off a special year to remember in perfect style at the weekend.

Celebrating their 50th year of Toowoomba Touch Association action the club’s A-grade men’s team reigned supreme in the grand final.

In a thrilling end-to-end contest Sharks edged out Saints 7-6 after the scores were locked 3-3 at halftime.

Sharks’ victory capped off what proved to be a memorable grand final day at the Kearneys Spring Complex.

Saints were a force to be reckoned with in the A-grade women’s final, beating Roosters 10-3, and Cowboys beat Raiders 8-6 in the All Abilities final.
