There were some outstanding performances with the bat and ball in an action-packed weekend of Toowoomba cricket across all four senior grades.

15. Gavin Steger (Northern Brothers Diggers, Reserve grade)
Steger punished the Highfields bowlers from the outset as he scored a classy 78 runs off as many balls.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Steger ensured it was the right decision by his captain as he combined for a 167-run first wicket partnership with Luke Guymer.
14. Carter Llewellyn (Met-Easts Red, B-grade)
Western Districts had no answer for Llewellyn as he tore through the batting line-up.
The Met-Easts bowler took four wickets and also made a run-out.
13. John Weier (Souths, B-grade)
Weier was a class above with bat and ball on Saturday as took 3-41 in the first innings, then backed it up with an unbeaten 55 off 45 balls in the second innings.
12. David Reuter (Wests Warriors, C-grade)
Reuter cleaned up the Highfields middle and lower order, claiming figures of 4-41 off seven overs in the first innings.
He then chipped in with a handy 28 with the bat in the second innings as he side claimed a comfortable five-wicket win with more than 12 overs to spare.
11. Shane Petersen (Wests Warriors, B-grade)
Petersen was the backbone of the innings for Wests as he scored 80 of his side’s 172 runs.
Coming in at 3-39, Petersen remained a composed head and kept the runs ticking over while wickets fell at the other end.
10. Alistair McKay (Met-Easts, Reserve grade)
McKay showed his class with bat and ball as he took 3-22 and scored 55 runs off 82 balls which included 11 boundaries.
9. Brandon Walker (Northern Brothers Diggers, A-grade)
The Dragons wicketkeeper showed his leadership out in the middle as he scored an unbeaten 80 off 99 balls against Highfields which included five fours and one maximum.
Walker also made an impact with the gloves as he took two catches in the second innings.
8. Peter Spence (Highfields, B-grade)
After chipping in with two handy wickets in the first innings, Spence then put in a captain’s knock as opener, scoring 74 runs off 120 balls.
However, it was ultimately not enough as the Bulldogs suffered a one-run defeat in a thrilling contest.
7. Michael Sheehan (Uni Phoenix, C-grade)
Sheehan put in a dominant batting display as he scored 91 runs off 108 balls.
6. Matthew Hallas (Wests, A-grade)
In the blockbuster clash between Wests and Met-Easts, Hallas set the tone for the contest in the first innings as he took 5-21.
5. Luke Guymer (Northern Brothers Diggers, Reserve grade)
Highfields could not contain the sheer force of Guymer as he punished the Bulldogs in both innings.
Batting first, he scored a blistering 82 runs off 61 balls, which included nine fours and three sixes.
He then made his presence further felt as he took 3-24 off four overs.
4. Brendan Redinger (Met-Easts Blue, B-grade)
Redinger scored a scintillating 123 off just 92 balls as he helped the Trojans to a strong first innings total of 6-272.
His sensational ton included a whopping 16 fours and four sixes.
3. Stuart Keene (Souths, Reserve grade)
Keene blasted his way to a stunning 113 off 90 balls.
Coming in at 5-33, the Magpies were under immense pressure, however, he formed a 120-run sixth-wicket partnership with Matt Budden to turn the tide of the contest.
With 17 fours and two sixes, there was little the bowlers could do to stop him before he was dismissed on the final ball of the innings, with his side in a competitive position at 10-208 after previously being in peril.
2. Nick Payne (Northern Brothers Diggers Blue, C-grade)
Payne scored an explosive unbeaten century to guide the Dragons to an emphatic 10-wicket win against Met-Easts.
Opening the batting, Payne scored 108 runs off just 47 balls, striking at 229.78.
His monster effort included 16 fours and four sixes.
1. Ranjit Singh Dhillon (Souths Magpies, C-grade)
Dhillon takes the top spot this week after his extraordinary performance with the bat in C-grade.
The Souths batter scored an incredible unbeaten 144 off 104 balls and hit 18 fours and three sixes along the way to guide his team to a mammoth 178-run win.
