After a stellar 2022 The Chronicle Sport Team has scoured the sporting landscape to find our Power 50 most influential sporting identities.

From athletes and coaches to administrators and volunteers here are the people we think have changed our sporting landscape for the better – as well as people who have influenced and inspired the current and next generation of athletes.

We’ve created our list, however we know everyone has their favourite athlete, coach and mentor.
