The boffins at SuperCoach HQ have crunched the numbers to uncover the boom players for 2025 and three young guns are at the top of the list.

Tom Sangster's first THREE picks in SuperCoach!

A trio of rookies are officially the hottest players in SuperCoach 2025.

The boffins at SuperCoach HQ have crunched the numbers to reveal the biggest market movers since launch.

They are young Broncos hooker Blake Mozer, Canberra outside back Savelio Tamale and Warriors forward Demitric Vaimauga.

See below for the full list of most popular players, plus analysis on the big ownership swings from the subscriber-only pre-season Team Picker to the current rankings following Tuesday’s launch.

GONE COLD

Tino Fa’asuamaleaui FRF/2RF $531,300

The Titans prop has dropped from 75.47 per cent ownership to just 44.20 per cent. That equates to a drop from the most popular player to just seventh most popular. SuperCoaches are clearly scared off by the fact he is coming back from an ACL injury and has the bye in round one. More

Latrell Mitchell FLB $866,800

The star Rabbitoh has dropped from 13th to 19th in the ownership rankings. There was plenty of hype surrounding Latrell after images of him looking fit as a fiddle hit the internet over the Christmas break. He’s also back under mentor Wayne Bennett, who has brought the best out of Latrell in the past, as he has for many other players.

But perhaps SuperCoaches are smartening up to the fact that Latrell, while only playing 11 games last year and generally being panned along with other Rabbitohs for a poor season, actually produced his best ever statistical year and therefore starts at his highest price ever. More

RED HOT

Blake Mozer HOK $312,000

New Broncos coach Michael Maguire has suggested Mozer could start at hooker and he’s therefore surged from 90th to 30th most popular player – that’s a drop from 5.99 per cent ownership to 15.8 per cent. More in our Cheapie Bible

Savelio Tamale CTW $232,600

The former Dragon is in the midst of a huge pre-season and is gunning for a starting spot at the Raiders. He’s moved from 80th to 26th in the ownership rankings – that’s 6.84 per cent ownership to 17.5 per cent. More here

Demitric Vaimauga 2RF $232,600

Backed by many as the best young gun at the Warriors and will play plenty of NRL in 2025, it’s just a matter of when. He’s gone from 49th to 25th most popular. More in our rookies special

The Roosters’ playmaker is now the most popular player in SuperCoach, moving up from fifth. He has a huge opportunity in 2025 at the Roosters, who are without Luke Keary and Sam Walker this season. More here

Jaxon Purdue CTW $257,000

The Cowboys young gun has seen a drastic jump from 24th most popular to eighth. He is in the running for a backline spot at the Cowboys following the exits of Valentine Holmes and Kyle Feldt. More here
