While most will have to wait until 2024 to make their NRL debuts, a handful of prodigies will make the leap early following the mass resting of stars for the final regular season round of 2023.
Brisbane’s Blake Mozer is best of Queensland’s NRL prospects and the wily hooker will make his debut against Melbourne Storm on Thursday.

Yet to debut but on a top-30 deal in 2024, Dragons’ boom centre Savelio Tamale will be looking to impress Shane Flanagan as the new coach looks to re-build the roster in Wollongong.
At Newcastle, back-rower Jermaine McEwen is in the running for an NRL start in 2024 after veteran forward Lachlan Fitzgibbon confirmed he’s leaving the Knights at the end of the year.
Ricky Stuart kept fullback Xavier Savage on ice, but the coach is expected to fast track boom back Chevy Stewart into the NRL side with the Raiders having to rely on makeshift No.1 Seb Kris this season.
The likes of centre Richard Penisini and prop Sam Tuivati are expected to complete their first full NRL pre-season in the coming months at Parramatta.
