While this there is still a long way to go in this year’s Super Netball season, former Diamonds’ coach Lisa Alexander says there are already some concerning signs for several coaches.

The Super Netball season is just three rounds in but already key themes are emerging with pressure mounting on coaches who are off contract and need to turn fortunes around if they’re to be successful in 2025.
The current ladder only tells part of the story and while percentage is also a relevant data point to consider, we won’t see a full picture until every team has played each other.
Injuries, personnel changes, game plans and the ability to handle the inevitable curve balls are all part of what the coaches deal with on a daily basis.
Already some coaches are showing significant improvement from last year while there are others who will be asking serious questions of themselves and their team now, the pressure rising already as the season can very quickly get away from you.
