Men

Stratford Dolphins vs. Innisfail United

7pm, Saturday 19 August | Steve Corica Oval

The Stratford Dolphins face Innisfail United at Steve Corica Oval this Saturday evening in what is a crucial clash for United’s finals hopes.

Innisfail currently sit in fourth place on 29 points with a goal difference of one, with Southside Comets charging late for the last finals position, sitting in fifth place on 28 points with a goal difference of twelve.

United haven’t had much luck recently, going winless in their last three matches with draws against Southside Comets and Leichhardt FC, plus a defeat to Edge Hill United.

If United can claim victory against the Dolphins, they’ll be hoping that Redlynch can upset the Comets which would seal finals football for Innisfail heading into the final weekend of fixtures.

Leichhardt FC White vs. Edge Hill United

6:30pm, Friday 18 August | Leichhardt FC

This heavyweight clash between Premiers Leichhardt FC White and Edge Hill United will sure attract plenty of attention as the two sides clash for the last time before finals.

Edge Hill currently sit third, a game and two points behind Southside Comets Halleys in second place.

Edge Hill will be out to hand Leichhardt FC White their first loss of the season on the brink of finals, which would also boost their chances of securing a home semi-final.

Leichhardt have been near perfect this season with 16 wins and just the single draw, against Edge Hill United in Round 4, as they head into their final match of the regular season.
