Matrics v Metro Jets (Reserves) – 2025 Netball SA Premier League Round 12
PREVIEW
Matrics will look to continue its impressive rebound from a Netball SA Premier League round nine loss to Contax when it takes on Metro Jets this Friday night.
The 2024 finalist has defeated both South Adelaide and Newton Jaguars since going down to its modern rival and will need to continue racking up wins in the coming weeks to secure a finals place.
You can watch all the action from Friday night’s PL and Reserves double header live and exclusive right here on the Adelaide Now site and KommunityTV from 7pm.
On the other side of the ledger, the less experienced Jets have lost three consecutive games and are as hungry as ever for a win at the bottom of the ladder.
Coach Trudy Barker’s side recently fell 71-45 to third spot Garville but had positive performances from a number of players including shooters Samantha Low and Ashlea Turner as well as Centre Ella Sigley.
Jets will need to be at their best across the court if they want to win one of the biggest upsets of the season, with a number of Matrics guns all in strong form.
Young defender Jemma Kelly was impressive last week, while Centre Lucy Voyvodic was also typically influential across four quarters.
A win for Matrics on Friday would see them maintain at least a four-point gap above fifth spot South Adelaide, while the Jets could potentially move out of bottom spot with an upset.
