Okai had an incredible 16 rebounds, 11 offensive, to ensure the ACT started its national campaign off with a bang.
The talented teen also had four steals and will be one to watch when the ACT plays Victoria Country on day three.
STARS EMERGE EARLY
Two stars have been unearthed at the Under-16 Nationals already and both are hoping to lead the Queensland South male and female sides to their respective titles.
Jordan Kaesler dropped 32 points on two occasions on day two of the championships, first in a 91-76 win over Western Australia Metro and then again in a 79-68 win over South Australia Country.
Kaesler also had 12 assists and five rebounds against Western Australia.
In the girls Maddison Reisinger scored 38 points and had 15 rebounds on the way to guiding Queensland South to an 86-66 win over Tasmania.
