SPEEDWAY : Brisbane’s Brent Kratzmann aims to make a double impact when he returns tonight to Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway for USC Sprintcars round three.

Kratzmann, from BK Trading, is sponsoring tonight’s annual Ultimate Pink Night meeting raising for funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation while also throwing the spotlight on breast cancer awareness.

All females attending the meeting will be admitted free with a gold coin donation going to the fundraising effort.

Kratzmann will also match the admission donation dollar-for-dollar to double the amount raised at the gate.

He will then look to atone for some recent racing bad luck with a strong showing against a class Sprintcar field.

“There has been a big car count in Toowoomba of late and this week’s racing has drawn really good numbers,” Kratzmann said.

“Toowoomba has developed into a really top facility.

“The Sprintcar nominations look strong, led by Robbie Farr and Andrew Scheuerle.

“But we have a car with heaps of speed.

“I probably should have won two races now only to crash out and we’re looking to turn that around this week.

“We usually qualify very well so hopefully we can get a starting spot somewhere up the front and put ourselves in the race.”

Racing action tonight also includes Modified Sedans, Compact Speedcars, AMCA Nationals, Formula 500s, Wingless Sprints, F500 Juniors, Open and RSA Sedans.

Tonight’s crowd is encouraged to join in the event’s pink theme.

Main racing starts at 6pm.
