Junior league stars make mark at inaugural Kuhnemann Carnival

With more than 40 teams in action across the two days, the inaugural Kuhnemann Carnival was a resounding success at the weekend.

Bought into play by Southern Suburbs Junior Rugby League Club officials, the carnival was an opportunity for under-8 and U9 players to put thier skills to the test.

Tigers Toowoomba home ground Gold Park was the host venue with teams travelling from as far a Roma, Goondiwindi, Texas and Miles in action.

Toowoomba, Warwick, Lockyer Valley and South Burnett teams also ran out across the two teams.

With plans already under way for next year’s carnival, here’s a look at more than 50 young league players who enjoyed the chance to lace up their boots in the carnival.
